Standing on Broadway at the very beginning of Wall Street is this grand architectural accomplishment. A registered national landmark, it was described the Mayor as the “glory of our City” at the time of its consecration in 1846. Today it still “serves as a center for contemplation, worship, and Christian community.

Many great individuals have worshipped at this church as have many been laid to rest in its churchyard.

Also here, you’ll find a bookstore, a museum and pamphlets which will serve as great guides to the church itself.

Trinity Church’s Spire rises over 25 stories above ground and the cross alone is 6 feet long. Over 100 years ago it dominated the lower Manhattan skyline. Mind you, this part of NYC at the time was a great commercial port. Thus, one can just imagine how much of a guide this structure was for ships coming in through the harbor.

So should you be in the area, pass on by and see for yourself what this great church has to offer.
