Ice Skating At Rockefeller Center Returns October 21

The world’s most famous ice-skating rink is returning to Rockefeller Center for its 87th season! Those seeking to get into the holiday spirit early will be able to hit the ice starting October 21 and tickets are on sale now!

Beginning November 4, ice skaters can stay warm inside the Après Skate Chalet presented by Balsam Hill. Located Rink side with incredible views of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, Balsam Hill designers will decorate each chalet in a different theme reflecting their wide breadth of holiday décor available this holiday season. This year will be the first in which guests can enjoy alcoholic beverages in the chalets, with a soon-to-be announced menu of drinks by Other Half Brewery, served alongside a warming menu of après-skate bites by 21 Greenpoint.

Originally designed as a temporary attraction to draw visitors to Rockefeller Center’s outdoor plaza in 1936, The Rink became a permanent fixture in 1939. Since then, it has evolved into one of the city’s most legendary landmarks and one of the top visited sites in Manhattan, hosting more than a quarter of a million skaters annually.

Tickets to The Rink at Rockefeller Center start at $21 per person with discount pricing available for groups of 10 or more, not including skate rentals. Season passes and private events are also available. Visit The Rink’s website for more information.
