The Firefighter Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run 2015

Everyone can be a hero on Sunday, September 27, 2015 during “The Firefighter Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run.” This five kilometer (5K) run/walk traces the path of a heroic FDNY firefighter who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to reach Ground Zero on 9-11.

The run/walk starts at Brooklyn on the Gowanus approach (I.S 142) to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, go through the Tunnel, right onto West Street, left onto Liberty Street, to Battery Park esplanade, and finish at Vesey Street, facing the former World Trade Center.

About the Foundation

Building for America’s Bravest, a program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, constructs specially adapted smart homes for our most catastrophically injured service members.
