As part of the James A. Farley Post Office Building’s ongoing transformation into the Moynihan Station the Penn Station West End Concourse had opened to the public in June 2017. We passed through the area today and have some photos to share of the exterior entrances as well as the interior of the one located at 31st street and 8th avenue.

You’ll see, as well, images from part of the Post Office building’s interior. The building itself was built in 1912.

Although we didn’t get to venture beyond the areas shown in the photos on this page we do intend to revisit very soon. At that point we’ll share additional images.
