Preparations for Jane’s Walk NYC

Taking place on May 3rd and May 4th, 2014

Join MAS on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th, for Jane’s Walk NYC!  To honor the life and legacy of visionary urban activist, Jane Jacobs, thousands of New Yorkers will take to the streets for this annual celebration featuring more than 100 free guided walks throughout New York’s five boroughs, organized and led by enthusiastic New Yorkers on topics and neighborhoods that interest them most.

Get involved!  Lead a walk, join a walk, become a volunteer or attend Jane Jacobs’ Birthday Party–all celebrating the uniqueness of our neighborhoods and the passionate New Yorkers like you who keep them strong.

Visit Their New “Submit a Walk” Site

“”We are pleased to debut our new web platform that makes submitting a Jane’s Walk more fun than ever, with new features that allow you to plot your route along an interactive map, save and edit your submission as a draft before publishing, and much more. If you have a special interest to share or would like to explore an area of the city, become a Jane’s Walk leader today and submit a walk by clicking the button below.””
