Chinese Lunar New Year Photos in Chinatown, Lower Manhattan

Seen here are photos taken at one particular year’s Chinese Lunar New Year Celebrations through the streets of Lower Manhattan. We mention specifically Lower Manhattan since many folks don’t realize how there’s actually numerous Chinatowns in New York City: One in Lower Manhattan, One in Brooklyn and two to three in Queens.

In one of these photos one can see the performing dragons and/or lions entering businesses for the sake of blessing them whereas in others they’re simply performing and dancing. Click on any image below.
