ONE • One Planet One Future: Art Exhibition

Friday, September 16, 2016 till November 21, 2016

Westbeth Center for the Arts
155 Bank Street, New York, NY 10014

Westbeth will host a Time Shrine Foundation presentation of the work of Anne de Carbuccia. Ms. de Carbuccia is an artist who explores ecologically sensitive locales throughout the planet to create and photograph site-specific assemblages, set into striking landscapes, that she calls “time shrines.”
The exhibition is installed in basement space at Westbeth that was flooded during Hurricane Sandy. At the time, artists in residence lost thousands of works of art that were stored in the space.
To commemorate that loss and call attention to climate change, the exhibition is installed around pools of water, and visitors will navigate the below-grade space along raised walkways.

Exhibition hours are:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday: 11:30AM-6:30PM
Friday and Saturday: Noon -8:30PM
Tuesdays: Closed
ADMISSION: Free
REGISTRATION: http://www.timeshrinefund.org/book.php
