New Season of Free Concerts in Central Park. All concerts will be performed at the Naumburg Bandshell which is located mid-park just south of the 72nd Street cross-drive.
No tickets issued. 700 seats provided on a first come first serve basis. Benches around Concert Ground also available.

Harlem Meer Performance Festival 2016

Located at 110th Street near Fifth Avenue within Central Park between Fifth and Lenox Avenues
On more than one occasion yours truly has had the wonderful opportunity to witness what goes on at this locale one year and allow me to tell you! It was quite the occasion! Although the music on each particular night was neither the sort that I’d venture out of my way to purchase nor witness, these performances were wholeheartedly the type that makes one wonder, Gee! What took me so long to experience them in the first place? We’re not guaranteeing that they’ll be your cup of tea but they’re definitely worth investigating at least once.

Prior to each concert at 6:30 p.m., audiences will also have the chance to enjoy an incredible recital performed on one of the most famous carillons in the world—the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon.  The carillon’s centerpiece, the Bourdon Bell—weighing 20 tons—is the world’s largest and heaviest tuned bell ever cast. Its smallest bell weighs ten pounds.  Featuring 74 bells in total, in terms of physical size and weight (over 100 tons), the Riverside carillon has never been surpassed.

Music & Other Entertainment at Riverside Park, NYC

There’s plenty going on at this wonderful stretch of parkland along Manhattan’s upper west side. This park which stretches from 68th street all the way up to 155th street will play host to quite a bit of goings on the entire year through.
