Starting outside at 12 noon, they throw up a stage and sound system on East 10th Street at 1st Avenue and composer, Bohemia historian and guitar guru Richard West curates and hosts a street extravaganza. A marvelous mix of acoustic music (folk to funk), dance (flamenco, belly and otherwise), comedy, poetry and Theatrical Miscellany. Lining the street on either side of the stage are vendors of all description, local artisans and purveyors of tempting foods. So you may feast and flea market to your heart’s content until 5pm.
