Eligible New Yorkers can begin scheduling appointments for the Brooklyn and Queens sites at 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 20 by utilizing New York’s ‘Am I Eligible‘ website or by calling the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).
For the first week these sites will be open ONLY to those residing in the provided zip codes. Thereafter, they’ll be open to those living within the respective borough.

Hopefully this will be the needed step in the right direction. That is, allowing only those living within the immediate areas of the most hardest hit communities to have a first chance at receiving the vaccine; unlike other past scenarios wherein people of distant locations were traveling to other neighborhoods for their COVID-19 shots.
