About Bike New York:
Bike New York is a nonprofit organization that empowers New Yorkers to transform their lives and communities through bicycling. Their vision is to increase ridership, to empower youth to lead healthy, productive lives, to remove barriers to cycling, and to advocate for and expand services to reach more New Yorkers.
They offer free bike education programs throughout the five boroughs, where they teach kids and adults how to ride a bike, and how to do so safely and confidently in the city. In 2020 alone, they taught bike skills to more than 30,000 New Yorkers.
They also organize numerous annual events, including the TD Five Boro Bike Tour (the largest charitable bike ride in the U.S.), Bike Expo New York, and smaller regional and community rides.
They are committed to sustainability and have implemented various initiatives to make their events as green as possible. They also welcome sponsorships and media inquiries from interested parties.
Their team consists of a diverse group of people who are passionate about cycling and making New York City a better place for everyone. They can be contacted by phone or email for any questions or feedback.
