COST:    Tickets to The Rink at Rockefeller Center presented by Coach start at $21/person and can be purchased here.

The world’s most famous ice-skating rink is returning to Rockefeller Center for its 86th season! Those looking to get into the holiday spirit early will be able to lace up their skates and hit the ice starting November 5. Brought to you in collaboration with Coach, the first presenting sponsor of The Rink, this season’s programming will celebrate the return of ice-skating to the Center through March 2023. More information on The Rink’s opening festivities can be found here.

This programming is the second year of Coach and Rockefeller Center’s multi-year partnership celebrating the magic of the holiday season. A collaboration joining two iconic New York institutions, the festivities will begin next month with the opening of The Rink on Saturday, November 5.

Building on the magic of last season, this year’s partnership celebrates the spirit of wonder and nostalgia that Coach shares with Rockefeller Center, as well as a shared heritage as New York City icons. Together, Coach and Rockefeller Center will unveil this year’s activations, including a bespoke holiday gift shop, a custom hospitality cart serving special treats, and live onsite patch customization for your favorite Coach products.

Originally designed as a temporary attraction to draw visitors to Rockefeller Center’s outdoor plaza in 1936, The Rink became a permanent fixture in 1939. Since then, it has evolved into one of the city’s most legendary landmarks and one of the top visited sites in Manhattan, hosting more than a quarter of a million skaters annually.

Tickets to The Rink at Rockefeller Center presented by Coach will go on sale October 12 starting at $21 per person with discount pricing available for groups of 10 or more. Beginning in January, New York City residents can get discounted access to unlimited skate sessions starting at $65. Visit The Rink’s website for more information.

Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, the roller rink that brought skating to Rockefeller Center year-round, will be having its final day of the season on Saturday, October 15, returning April 2023. Those wanting to boogie down one last time before its conversion to the classic ice-skating rink have their last chance to make their last roller-skating reservations. Flipper’s retail store, located at the Channel Gardens of Rockefeller Center will remain open year-round to support the skate community. Tickets for Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace can be purchased here. Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace will be returning to Rockefeller Center’s campus April 2023.

A campus-wide reimagination is underway at Rockefeller Center with artisan brands like soon-to-open-New York City-based bookstore McNally Jackson, athletic wear and wellness lifestyle brand Alo Yoga, and menswear designer Todd Snyder. French bistro Le Rock has also recently joined the Rockefeller Center family, with the highly anticipated additions of Jupiter, Naro, and Five Acres opening later this year. Visitors to Rockefeller Center can experience over 100 works of public art throughout the campus, and the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be on view beginning November 30th through January 2023.
