Summer HD Festival at Lincoln Center Returns!
August 25 – September 4
The Metropolitan Opera’s Summer HD Festival returns to Lincoln Center Plaza from August 26 to September 4, 2023. The festival will feature 10 free screenings of opera performances from the Met’s Live in HD series, as well as a special screening of Moonstruck, co-presented with Film at Lincoln Center.
The operas in the festival lineup include some of the Met’s most celebrated productions, such as Verdi’s La Traviata, and Puccini’s La Bohème. The festival will also feature a number of new productions, including Kevin Puts’s The Hours, Terence Blanchard’s Champion, and Giordano’s Fedora.
The festival will be held on consecutive evenings from late August to early September. Seat access is free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The festival is a great opportunity to see some of the Met’s best productions for free.
