Join in for a nostalgic evening of square dancing at Bryant Park on Thursday, September 26th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Experience the joy of this traditional American dance form while enjoying live music, free western-themed activities, and delicious food and drinks.
The evening will feature performances by Hopalong Andrew, a talented musician known for his family-friendly shows. In addition, there will be two square dance sessions led by experienced caller Dave Harvey, who will guide participants through the steps and formations.
For those who prefer to explore other activities, Bryant Park will offer a variety of options throughout the evening. Test your skills on the mechanical bull, capture memorable moments at the photo op, learn the art of trick roping, or enjoy classic lawn games like corn hole. Children can participate in fun crafts and even try their hand at panning for gold.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, we encourage attendees to come dressed in their best country attire. Bandanas will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and hats will be available for purchase.
Indulge in delicious country-curated bites from Hester Street Fair and quench your thirst with beer and wine from Stout NYC.
