Visit this page to learn about the various ticket distributions in place. At the spur of the moment we just happened upon the line in Central Park for last minute distributions and took a chance. Stood at the end of the line for not too long and believe it or not, We Got Tickets! It was for the Tempest performances in 2009 and Patrick Stewart was starring. What a treat it was!

The theater is accessible from the 81st street entrance off Central Park West or the 79th street entrance off Fifth Avenue. Of course, it’s actually accessible from any part of the park if you know your way.
