Pumpkin Point at Governors Island 2022

Taking place on the Nolan Park Lawn within Governors Island

Folks who show are welcomed to pick out your own pumpkin on these weekends for free with suggested donation.

Aside from the pumpkin picking, arts & crafts and pumpkin painting taking place each day there’ll also be food offerings available for purchase from vendors on the island. Also, there’s the following events and performances:

Saturday, October 22:

• 11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Storytelling with Rising Sun Performance Company
• 12:00 – 2:00 pm: Folk music with Porch Stomp artists Johan­na Wack­er &Jere­my Aaron 

Sunday, October 23:

• 11:00 am: Inter­ac­tive dance and cre­ativ­i­ty work­shop with Kine­sis Project
• 1:00 & 3:00 pm: Mag­ic shows from Brook­lyn Mag­ic Shop 
• 2:00 & 3:30 pm: The Gar­den, pre­sent­ed by Fly­ing Leap Pro­duc­tions &Beam Cen­ter 

Saturday, October 29:

• 12:00 pm: Won­der­Spark Pup­pet Show & Work­shop
• 1:00 – 3:00 pm: Folk music with Porch Stomp artists Snowy Moun­tain Sis­ters

Sunday, October 30:

• 11:30 am: Drag Story Hour
• 1:00 pm: Trick or Treating
• 2:00 pm: Interactive performance by Hamza Kirbas, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Residency Unlimited
