2022 Halloween Pumpkin Flotilla on Central Park’s Harlem Meer

Taking place at the Harlem Meer by the northernmost point within Central Park just below 110^th Street

Folks are welcomed to join in on this annual seasonal event that takes place right on the water of the Harlem Meer. You’re welcomed to stand on the sidelines to view all the wonderful happenings or you can participate by submitting your own jack-o’-lantern.

According to the official site, your pumpkin should be about 8 pounds in weight after it’s already been carved up. You’re asked to submit it as is without any “unnatural” decorations such as paint, glitter, food dye, paper, plastic or anything else that might pose a danger to wildlife through pollution.

Candles and lights will be provided so’s to illuminate the pumpkin.

If interested, then you’re to pass by the Charles A. Dana Discovery Plaza (located at the northern end of the Meer) between 4:00 and 5:30 pm.
