The New York City Cannabis Parade and Rally (NYCCPR), a longstanding champion for marijuana legalization, returns this year on May 4th. This three-part event kicks off with a parade marching south on Broadway from 33rd Street to Union Square Park, starting at 12:30 pm.

Following the parade, a rally commences at 1:00 pm in Union Square Park, featuring prominent speakers including elected officials, activists, and industry leaders. The rally also boasts a lineup of musical entertainment to keep the energy high. Expect to hear from a variety of voices pushing for continued reform, with a focus on fair commercial markets and addressing remaining legal issues at the state and federal levels. The rally wraps up at 5:00 pm.

NYCCPR celebrates the significant strides made in marijuana legalization while recognizing the ongoing need for vigilance. This year’s event serves as a platform to advocate for continued progress on a local, state, and federal scale.
