On the Flight Deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum

Celebrate summer and classic cinema under the stars with the Intrepid Museum’s annual free movie series, kicking off Memorial Day Weekend. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Hudson River and NYC skyline, guests are invited to enjoy blockbuster films on a huge inflatable screen atop the museum’s iconic Flight Deck. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and blankets, and settle in for a magical evening outdoors — all free of charge.

6:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Movie begins at sunset)

Relive the thrills of the high-flying classic Top Gun as the series launches for another season. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and seating is first-come, first-served with limited capacity. Light concessions will be available, but guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note: alcohol is prohibited, reentry is not allowed after exiting, and doors will close at 8:30 PM.
