The annual Friendship Walk NYC returns for 2025 with a full day of community fun, set to take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, on East 77th Street between 1st and York Avenues in New York City.

The day begins with T-shirt pickup at 10:30 AM, followed by an opening ceremony and walk at 11:00 AM. Participants will take part in a 1-mile walk, offering a chance to show support and raise awareness for individuals with special needs.

Following the walk, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the event transforms into a vibrant carnival and street fair open to all. Attractions will include rides such as bumper cars, a pirate swing, a laser dome arena, and a twister ride. Visitors can also enjoy inflatables, a candy play zone, a carousel moonwalk, and a Sesame Street play zone, along with animal encounters, balloon artists, face painting, an art tent, a sensory tent, and a basketball pop-a-shot.

Food options will be available at a kosher food court, serving hot dogs, burgers, corn on the cob, cotton candy, popcorn, ices, snacks, and beverages.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of the Friendship Circle of the Upper East Side, which provides friendship, inclusion, and support for individuals with special needs. For more information or to register, visit the official website at FriendshipWalkNYC.org.
