Fireworks Light Up Citi Field in 2025 — And That’s Just the Start

The New York Mets are bringing the heat to Citi Field this summer — and not just on the field. Fireworks Nights are back, offering fans the thrill of postgame fireworks after select Friday home games throughout the 2025 season. From late May through August, the skies over Queens will erupt in color as fans cap off a night of baseball with spectacular pyrotechnics.

Here are the eight official Fireworks Nights taking place at Citi Field:

• Friday, May 23 – Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

• Friday, May 30 – Mets vs. Colorado Rockies

• Friday, June 13 – Mets vs. Tampa Bay Rays

• Thursday, July 3 – Mets vs. Milwaukee Brewers (special Thursday night show for the July 4 holiday)

• Friday, July 18 – Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds

• Friday, August 1 – Mets vs. San Francisco Giants

• Friday, August 15 – Mets vs. Seattle Mariners

• Friday, August 29 – Mets vs. Miami Marlins

Each of these nights concludes with a fireworks display launched directly from the stadium grounds — a fan-favorite tradition that brings the Citi Field experience to a whole new level.

Alongside Fireworks Nights, the Mets have unveiled a wide array of 2025 ballpark promotions designed to create memorable experiences for fans of all ages:

Family Sundays

For most Sunday home day games (excluding holiday weekends), families can enjoy four tickets starting at $50, with pre-game entertainment on Mets Plaza and activities for kids throughout the ballpark.

$5 Tuesdays

On Tuesday home games, fans can savor classic ballpark foods and drinks for just $5 — including Nathan’s hot dogs, soft pretzels, popcorn, soda, Coors Light, and more.

New Kids Meal

A souvenir Mets helmet holds a kids-size chicken tenders and fries combo with apple juice — just $9.89 — available to fans 12 and under at select concessions during every home game.

Mets Kids Club presented by Dunkin’

Now featuring a free membership tier and lower prices for exclusive kits, the Kids Club offers fun perks including Mr. and Mrs. Met Dash base-running events on select Sundays and special welcome gifts.

Saturday Block Parties

Before every Saturday home game, fans can join the Mets Plaza Block Party featuring music, games, Mr. & Mrs. Met appearances, and even Mookie Wilson dishing out family recipes via Legacy Catering.
