The 22nd Annual Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Street Festival will be held on Sunday, June 18 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm on Eldridge Street between Division and Canal Streets in the Lower East Side/Chinatown neighborhood of New York City. The festival is free to attend and open to all.
The festival will feature a variety of food vendors, including Grand Tea & Imports, Chinese Sugar Painting Candy, Economy Candy, Mía’s Cocína, Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, The Pickle Guys, Kehila Kedosha Janina, Wo Hop, Carmen’s Piña Coladas, and Zaro Family Bakery. There will also be a variety of artists and educators on hand, including Felipe Rangel (Vejigante Masks), Green Tile Social Club (Mahjong), Lena Tapnack (Hebrew Scribal Art), Ling Tang (Chinese Paper Cutting), Silly Cheeks (Face Painting), Yajun Sui (Chinese Sugar Art), and the New York Chinese Cultural Center (Lion Dance).
The festival is a great opportunity to celebrate the diversity of the Lower East Side/Chinatown neighborhood and to enjoy a variety of delicious food and cultural experiences.
