About Pioneer Works
Pioneer Works is a non-profit cultural center in Red Hook, Brooklyn that fosters innovative thinking through the visual and performing arts, technology, music, and science. It encourages radical thinking across disciplines by providing practitioners a space to work, tools to create, and a platform to exchange ideas that are free and open to all. 85% of its funds are spent on free programming.
Pioneer Works was founded in 2008 by artists and scientists who wanted to create a space where people could come together to explore new ideas and create new work. The center is housed in a former factory that has been renovated to create a unique and inspiring environment for artists and audiences alike.
