Carnegie Hall Citywide has been taking place for 50 years, since 1973. It is a program that brings free concerts to New York City neighborhoods, schools, and parks. The program is designed to expose people of all ages to a variety of musical genres and cultures.
Carnegie Hall Citywide is a partnership between Carnegie Hall and local community organizations. The organizations help to select the performers and venues for the concerts. They also help to promote the concerts and encourage people to attend.
The program has been very successful in introducing people to new music and cultures. It has also helped to build bridges between different communities in New York City.
