The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival is a long-standing free outdoor performing arts series held at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Established in 1979 by the Fund for the Borough of Brooklyn, the festival aimed to revitalize Prospect Park and provide accessible cultural programming for the community. Over the years, it has evolved into a prominent platform showcasing a diverse array of global and local artists, reflecting Brooklyn’s rich cultural tapestry.

Organized by BRIC, a leading arts and media institution based in Brooklyn, the festival underscores the organization’s commitment to supporting artists and engaging the community through free and low-cost events. While most performances are free, the festival includes benefit concerts with ticketed admissions. Proceeds from these events support BRIC’s year-round programming, which encompasses arts education, media initiatives, and artist development programs.

The 2025 season continues this tradition, offering a lineup that spans various genres and artistic disciplines, aiming to foster community engagement and celebrate the diverse voices that contribute to Brooklyn’s dynamic cultural landscape.
