Bargemusic is one of New York City’s most unique and intimate classical music venues, offering world-class chamber music performances in a warm, informal setting for nearly 50 years. Now held at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse at Pier 5, Bargemusic features concerts with stunning waterfront views, welcoming audiences with free admission to all performances. Each concert typically lasts between one and one-and-a-half hours without intermission. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and restrooms are located near the entrance. Visitors are asked to refrain from bringing food, drink, or recording devices into the Boathouse. Bargemusic continues its mission under the leadership of violinist and Artistic Director Mark Peskanov, maintaining its tradition of community, excellence, and accessibility in a one-of-a-kind location along New York’s iconic waterfront.
