Astoria Park Independence Day Celebration

Astoria Park Lawn on Shore Boulevard between the Hell Gate Bridge and the Pool

On the Astoria Park Great Lawn and just off by the fences off the waters below will be folks hanging about awaiting the grand fireworks.

We’ve been there well over a decade ago and the pyrotechnic displays were really wonderful. As was the accompanying musical performance which will be there again this year. There be a performance by SwingTime Big Band.

Anyhow, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy your evening just days before the 4th of July!

‘and remember, fireworks usually take off past 9:00 pm. Maybe closer to 9:30 pm.
