Kick off the Summer-on-the-Hudson series with a day of lively performances, music, and family fun at the Annual NYC Irish Dance Festival, curated by Niall O’Leary TCRG, ADCRG. Held at Riverside Park South, this free and open-to-all event celebrates the richness of Irish dance and culture with performances by top troupes like Donny Golden Dancers, Darrah Carr Dance, and the Niall O’Leary Dance Troupe. Festivalgoers can join in céilí and percussive dance jams, enjoy live traditional music all day, participate in Irish language lessons, and explore children’s crafts, face painting, and more.

With stages featuring nonstop music, dance showcases, fun group lessons, and even a “Step Right Up!” tent for trying on traditional Irish dance costumes, there’s something for everyone — rain or shine. (In case of rain, the festival will move to the sheltered basketball court behind Pier I.) Bring the whole family for an unforgettable day of Celtic spirit, rhythm, and community!
