The 2023 Philippine Independence Day Parade Celebration is an annual event organized by the Philippine Independence Day Council Inc. (PIDCI), a nonprofit organization that promotes the history and culture of the Filipino people. The parade will be held on June 4, 2023 at Madison Avenue, New York City, from 38th St. to 27th St. It will mark the 125th anniversary of the Philippine Independence from Spain.

The parade will feature cultural shows, dances, and festivities that showcase the rich heritage of the Philippines. One of the highlights will be the MassKara Festival Performers from Bacolod City, a colorful and lively festival that celebrates the resilience and optimism of the Filipino people. The parade will also honor the Grand Marshal Dr. Dely P. Go, a nurse, educator, and entrepreneur who has contributed to the Filipino American community. The parade is expected to attract about 100,000 attendees from various states and countries.

The parade is part of a larger celebration that includes a street fair and cultural festival that offer food, music, arts, and crafts from different regions of the Philippines. The celebration aims to bring together Filipinos and friends from all over the world to commemorate the Philippine Independence Day and to share the Filipino spirit with others.

New Yorkled was happy to have attended the parade last year amidst all that wonderful cultural pride. Looking forward to possibly attending again this year.
