2023 Fireworks at Rye Playland in Rye, New York

That’s right. The season’s here for enjoying them wonderful pyrotechnic displays at one of our fave local amusement parks.

Unfortunately, as with so many other things in life getting more and more expensive, you’ll find yourself having to shell out money for parking as well as for the park entrance. Also, it’s a shame how they’ve cut back on the number of displays. We remember a time when entrance was free and the fireworks would take off twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays. Eventually, that was cut down to just Fridays. Now it’s merely once a month. Oh well.

But don’t fret. Along with all the fun rides and games, they’ve also go some entertaining shows and musical performances.

So here’s wishing you a fun time at Rye.
