Are you ready to pedal into the new season with some divine protection? Then join the 25th annual Blessing of the Bicycles at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. This service is for everyone who loves to ride on two wheels (or one, or three, or four) and wants to start the season with a splash of Holy Water and a ring of their bell.

The Very Reverend Patrick Malloy, Dean of the Cathedral, will officiate this unique and fun ceremony. He will bless your bike, remember the cyclists who are no longer with us, and lead you on a lap around the stunning interior of the Cathedral, which has recently been restored to its full glory. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate your passion for cycling and get a glimpse of heaven at the same time!
