104th NYC Veteran’s Day Parade will be Marching Up Fifth Avenue this November

Parade Grand Marshall Mike Linnington, US Army Veteran and CEO of Wounded Warrior Project, represents this year’s Featured Service.

The Parade will proceed on its traditional route, stepping off at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue and going north on Fifth Avenue.  The end point is approximately 47th Street & Fifth Avenue

Please note how this year’s parade will be taking place much earlier than what’s normally expected.

NEW YORK CITY ––America’s veterans—representing every branch of service and generation of warriors since WWII—to march up Fifth Avenue for the 104th annual Veterans Day Parade, Saturday, November 11, 2023, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm rain or shine. Spectators can view the parade, which steps off at 26th street and Fifth Avenue going north to its endpoint on 47th Street, in person or watch the broadcast airing live and streaming online on WABC-TV and on nycvetsday.org from 9:30 am to 12 pm. Produced by the United War Veterans Council (UWVC), the Parade is the nation’s largest commemoration of service, with nearly 300 marching and vehicle units, and 20,000 participants from across America and overseas, including veterans, military members, service organizations, youth cadets and marching bands. 

Lieutenant General (Retired) Mike Linnington, U.S. Army Veteran and CEO of Wounded Warrior Project, is this year’s Grand Marshal. Linnington led combat troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has dedicated his life to serving those who have served. In addition, Mike will be supported by two Honorary Marshals:

Elana Duffy, combat-wounded Army veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, and Richard Rice, longtime Special Forces Army veteran, with service from Vietnam through Somalia.
