Onboard is a working farm which yours truly had the pleasure of walking through during our guided tour. Also within the grounds is the Manor Office, Tenant Farm House itself, Ferry House and the Blacksmith Shop amongst other structures. There’s also the tavern not far away and of course the manor itself. Therein lie glimpses of life from so long ago. It’ll take hold of you as you grasp to understand the hard-lives of servants from olden days.
