Parade Route: Gansevoort Street to Hudson Street to Horatio Street to Greenwich Avenue to 8th Street to University Place to Union Square West to Union Square Park (north end) at 17th Street.
“”VEGGIE PRIDE PARADE is a free annual event that brings the community together to celebrate an animal-friendly, environmentally sustainable and healthy lifestyle!
Come dressed like your favorite fruit, vegetable, animal, or other themed costume. All are welcome to join the parade and/or the festivities afterwards.
The parade lines up at 11:00 am at 40 Gansevoort Street in the old meatpacking district of Manhattan, and proceeds to Union Square Park where there will be speakers, performers, exhibitors— and new this year, a cooking demonstration stage— from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m. will have the after-party at VSpot Organic at 12 Saint Marks Place in Manhattan. It is going to be a fun day! Tell your friends, and see you there!””
