New York has Lowest Number of Intubations Since Mid-March

New York has Lowest Number of Intubations Since Mid-March

Yesterday, New York’ number of intubations (use of ventilator or other method) was at 56, putting it as the lowest in the state since the middle of March, 2020.

Governor Cuomo shared this news with New Yorkers today along with the fact that only 0.84 percent of yesterday’s COVID-19 tests were positive for the virus.

The Governor also shared the following statistics:

Patient Hospitalization – 555 (-3)

Patients Newly Admitted – 86

Hospital Counties – 29

Number ICU – 124 (+1)

Number ICU with Intubation – 56 (-6)

Total Discharges – 73,907 (+65)

Deaths – 10

Total Deaths – 25,228
