My Name Is Gideon:
I’m Probably Going To Die, Eventually
A new one-man show by Gideon Irving, an unconventional theatrical couchsurfing troubadour.
Gideon Irving has been biking, rollerblading and driving from one town to the next for the past five years, performing and residing in the homes of perfect strangers. Now, he is inviting audiences into his own living room on the NY stage, bringing them “Stove Top Folk” – his unique blend of songs accompanied by variety of whimsical instruments, stories, and underwater levitation. The show has been developed over the course of 500 performances in living rooms around the world and makes its American debut after a successful run at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Previews begin Thursday, September 29th, with the opening night on October 6th; a limited engagement continues through October 30th.
Tickets are $35 general admission, $25 for seniors/students, $100-$500 for heros and a limited number of $10 tickets for all performances (which are sponsored by the hero tickets). Tickets can be purchased by visiting https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pr/963075 or calling (866) 811- 4111.
