Yes, that’s right. There used to be a Wollman Rink in Brooklyn as well. Located near the Parkside & Ocean Avenues entrance to Prospect Park. But now with a major restoration and renovation it is now The LeFrak Center at Lakeside
Offering the public:
- A skating pavilion with two rinks providing 32,000 square feet for seasonal ice skating, roller skating, and water play
- 15,000 square feet of beautifully landscaped viewing terraces
- Year-round café with a seating area
- Public restrooms
- Public programs, seasonal sports, classes, and event space
The old Wollman Rink had been demolished and replaced with TWO ice skating rinks.
