Fireworks by Coney Island’s Luna Park for the 2021 Summer Season

What we know thus far:

Coney Island Fireworks Dates

July 4, 9, 13, 16, 17, 23, 30

August 6, 27, 28

September 3, 4

It would appear from more than one official online posting that the annual ongoing fireworks displays are set to return this year. That conclusion comes to us after glancing at the Lunar Park Calendar and the Brooklyn Cyclones’ Schedule page.

In years past we’ve always depended upon the Baseball team’s scheduling page along with other official (some governmental) local pages. Yet, so far this year, the only online sources with any indication of pyrotechnic displays are the above mentioned sites.

We previously mentioned how the 4th of July fireworks would be returning to Coney Island this year and so it’s a delight to hear of these other displays.

So, let’s have a look at what we’ve found.

The Luna Park Site has a graphical calendar showing fireworks displays for every Friday from July 9 to July 30. To be clear, it doesn’t outright say they’re taking place. It merely shows a fireworks display over each of those dates; much like its indication that fireworks are taking place on the 4th of July, as we all already know.

On the Brooklyn Cyclones’ site, it’s clearly stated that post-game fireworks will be taking place on the aforementioned Fridays along with other dates in July and August.

We’ve reached out to the folks at Luna Park and we’ll promptly update this site accordingly once we get a response.

Thanks all and here’s to a wonderful New York City Summer of 2021!
