    New York, NY June 9th, 2017 – On June 17th bring your palate and some pals to the Second Annual Taste of the Valley at historic Conference House Park.  Sponsored by Councilman Joseph Borelli, the Richmond Valley Merchants Association and the Richmond County Savings Foundation, this premier food festival delivers tasty morsels, savory treats and appetizing cuisine from the “Valley’s” top restaurants, along with day-long entertainment.

    Where else can you satisfy your sweet tooth, meet other foodies and stroll through the grounds of a National Landmark?  All kinds of food from Asian fusion to hearty Italian will be featured at beautiful Conference House Park.  It’s a perfect mix of continental cuisine and family fun to kick-off summer.  At $8 presale and $10 at the door, there is no other place where visitors can sample some of the area’s top food presenters and experience an authentic historic park.

    This year features favorites like Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn, Project Brunch and Angelina’s Ristorante.  Some new additions to the growing Richmond Valley restaurants row include The Metropolitan Café and Mr. Ciao.

    The event also includes entertainment and games for the whole entire family.  Today’s Hottest Crooner Singing the Music of Yesterday, Charlie Romo will be performing along with the famous rock-a-silly act for the kids, Music with Patrick.  There will be other activities for the family, so bring the kiddies and your empty stomach!
