Join Executive Director Jessica B. Phillips on January 30 for the first Book Club meeting of 2018!

“You might think holiday vacations are spent around a fire or on a beach reading your newest book. The reality is they are most often spent shuffling between stores, preparing for house guests and celebrations. I get most of my reading done riding the R train to and from work. Going back to work in January was accompanied by returning to Russell Shorto’s newest book, Revolution Song. This book is a wonderful way for history lovers to easily and intimately access and imagine the lives of six individuals, including George Washington. I am eager to discuss with members the novel-like way this book reads and all the detailed, intersecting stories. See you on January 30!”
