    Speaker: High Chief Priest Dr. Ifabenusola Atanda was born in Osogbo, Nigeria. In addition to his western education which culminated in a PhD in Metaphysics, he was trained and educated in the traditional African religion of the Yoruba people by the late Araba of Lagos, Chief Ifasina Agboola. He holds numerous prestigious titles in Yorubaland some of which are: Aare Alasa of Osogbo, i.e., the President of the Defenders of the City of Osogbo; Asiwaju Awo Agbaye by His Royal Majesty Oba Sijuade, Asiwaju Awo of Lagos and Lagos State by the Araba of Lagos, Chief Ifasina Agboola and His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyinka Oyekan of Lagos. As Asiwaju Awo, High Priest Dr. Atanda serves as the “mouthpiece,” pathfinder, and leader of all priests and priestesses around the world. Chief Atanda currently serves as the National President and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the ANCIENT RELIGION SOCIETIES OF AFRICAN DESCENDANTS INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL (ARSADIC), the Global umbrella body for all African Traditional Religious organizations in Nigeria and the diaspora, where his Royal Majesty the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi is the Chairman of the Board.
