    “”The NYC Brewers Guild aims ”to advocate for and promote awareness of its local brewing members, to increase the visibility of local beers through marketing, events, and consumer education, and to foster a healthy, ethical, and growth-focused craft beer industry throughout the city.”  Basically, this means that the purpose of the Guild is to promote craft beer. Our main vehicle for this promotion is NYC Beer Week, where we bring in over 100 partner bars, restaurants, and grocers (wherever craft beer is sold) throughout the city for 10 days of special events, celebrations, tastings, tap takeovers, beer dinners, historical tours, and lectures, all revolving around craft beer. Our goal for 2016 is to continue to celebrate an entire city of craft beer and we hope that you join us!””
