Make a One-of-a-Kind Hat or Hair Ornament

October 13, 1:00 pm

At Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden

For this workshop, join celebrated hat-designer and Milliners Guild newsletter editor Lisa McFadden as she shows you how to create your own one-of-a-kind contemporary and period hat and hair accessories.

You can bring your own tiny treasures, whether they are baubles, bangles or even stray earrings as we provide feathers, foundations, fabrics and trims.  McFadden shares tidbits on millinery history and the latest techniques on shaping flowers, feathers and special, personal objects into elegant, wearable and meaningful confections.  Her hats have been shown in National Geographic, Cake Boss and CBSNews.  No experience necessary.  For more information on Lisa  Mc Fadden, click here. For tickets and information, click here.
