    Activist New York Exhibition
    Ongoing

In a city renowned for its in-your-face persona, New Yorkers have banded together on issues as diverse as civil rights, wages, sexual orientation, and religious freedom. Activist New York tells the story of activism in the city through artifacts, photographs, audio and visual presentations, as well as interactive components.

The most recent addition to the exhibition explores the Vietnam War protests in the city, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s controversial 1967 sermon opposing the war delivered at Riverside Church in Morningside Heights.
