Holy Eucharist: A Requiem for Orlando

The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine invites the people of New York City to a memorial for all those killed in the Orlando shooting. Drawing upon the Cathedral’s founding mission as a house of prayer for all people, of any or no faith, we embrace and grieve with our LGBTQ community and allies in this painful time.
We welcome you to take part in this memorial to the fallen, and to join with us in solidarity with the survivors. Together, we must do everything in our power to promote acceptance and love, and do everything in our power to actively challenge hate and bigotry.
The Reverend Canon Blake Rider, Canon to the Ordinary, will preach.
