Dana Discovery Center at Holiday Lighting Celebrate the season at our 17th annual Holiday Lighting in northern Central Park. Watch Okamoto Studio live carve an ice sculpture, sing carols on the Plaza, take your photo with Santa (bring your own camera), and warm up with hot cocoa and cookies. Event culminates with the lighting of the Dana Discovery Center and a flotilla of 17 trees on the Harlem Meer.

The event, organized by the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy, is made possible by our founding sponsor ConEdison.

Free. Families only; no groups, please. For more information, please call 212-310-6642. Please note: strollers are not allowed on the Plaza.
