    –Professional guide and author Miriam Berman to lead Jane’s Walk participants on a 90-minute historic tour through the Flatiron District–

    (New York. N.Y.) – The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District  (BID) is giving New Yorkers and visitors an opportunity to discover the history and architectural gems in the neighborhood when it participates in Jane’s Walk on May 6, 2018.

    Jane’s Walk, a global festival organized the by Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS), is celebrated from May 4 to 6 with free citizen-led walking tours across New York City, and the Flatiron walking tour is one of the free events this year.

    Miriam Berman, author of “Madison Square: The Park and Its Celebrated Landmarks” and “New York in Words and Images”, a book of New York postcards, will lead the tour through the historic Flatiron District. The 90-minute tour will highlight some of the city’s most notable landmarks, including the Flatiron Building, New York Life Insurance Building, MetLife Clock Tower, and Appellate Courthouse.
