The Curtis Institute’s flagship orchestra, lead by conductor Osmo Vänskä, concludes their 2020 US Tour in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Esteemed Curtis piano faculty Jonathan Biss is the soloist in Beethoven’s masterful “Emperor” Concerto. Also on the program is a new work composed by Curtis alumna Gabriella Smith. The program soars to a rousing conclusion with Sibelius’s majestic Symphony No. 2.
