Book signing with author, Bronxite, and Founder and President of Latino Sports & Latinosports.com, Julio Pabón of his book Knockout: Fidel Castro visits the South Bronx.

In 1995, Cuba’s President Fidel Castro visited the South Bronx. Although Castro’s visit was widely covered by traditional media, few people know the story behind his visit. Knockout tells how the response to a mayor’s insult resulted in the most famous visit of a Latin American leader to the heart of a Latino community in the United States that was also undergoing its own revolution.
