All of a Kind Family Walking Tour

Sunday, July 13 from 11 am to noon

A summer favorite! You loved Ella, Henny, Sarah, Charlotte, and Gertie in Sydney Taylor’s All-of-a-Kind Family, now see where they lived. If you’ve read this beloved classic – or even if you haven’t – come discover the Lower East Side of a century ago. Explore the streets where the sisters played, prayed, studied and read, and experience childhood in the old neighborhood. Along the way, taste pickles from a barrel and buy some delicious treats from an old-fashioned candy store.

The Museum’s family and K-12 school programs are funded by The Brenner Family Foundation, the Mitzi and Warren Eisenberg Family Foundation, the Marc Haas Foundation, the Jewish Community Youth Foundation, The Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, the Lucius N. Littauer Foundation, the Leo Rosner Foundation, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts.

$15 per family
